Heater Quality Control
How to control the production quality of electric heater tube and avoid bad leakage products.

The electric heating pipe is composed of electric heating wire, magnesium oxide, metal tube, and sealing material, and the quality of the material is the most directly affecting the quality of the product.
1. Heating wire: Commonly used are nickel-chromium wire and iron-chromium wire. Usually when the surface temperature is lower than 700 °C, iron-chromium wire can be used, and when the working temperature is greater than 800 °C, nickel-chromium alloy wire can be selected, the main reason is that the chemical reaction of the magnesium oxide filled inside at different temperatures changes the insulation performance and affects the performance of the electric heating pipe.
After done resistance spring coil, clean oil stains with ultrasonic cleaning machine (GT-CS01), then dry by oven. GTC offers Oven for resistance wire coil dry GT-HX201.
2. Magnesium oxide: as a high-purity insulating material is
generally selected, magnesium oxide its particle size is less than 0.3mm for
the best working temperature can reach 1000 °C,
the purchased insulating material magnesium oxide to ensure the quality: the
general inspection is mainly to visually measure the uniformity of the spoon,
with a magnet to demagnetize.
3. Metal pipes: commonly used metal pipes are copper pipes, iron pipes, aluminum pipes, stainless steel pipes, according to different heating mesons and different materials, iron pipes and aluminum pipes can be used for heat transfer in general casting, and copper and steel pipes can be used for other purposes. The purchased metal pipe should be cleaned before use, and the process of removing impurities with pickling will not make trace elements and impurities mixed together when the 10% nitric acid solution is loaded with magnesia, and its insulation performance will be reduced.
4. After the metal tube is filled with magnesium oxide, use a Hi-pot (withstand voltage) tester (2000V/1 second) to test whether it has electric leakage/broken down: We have a feeding + Hi-pot testing machine: the failed ones are automatically separated, and the normal ones are sent to the next process: Tube roll compressed. 5. After compress the tube, use Hi-pot machine (2000V/second) to test. If it passes, it can be transferred to the next process.

Use an oven to remove moisture before sealing the tube.

6. Sealing material: The sealing material of the electric heating pipe is commonly used epoxy resin, 704 silicone silicone oil, etc. for sealing, the sealing material is the last process of the whole electric heating pipe production according to different performance, different sealing materials are used, 120C-200 °C sealing materials are used for liquid heating, 250 °C-450 °C sealing materials can be used for cast iron heat transfer, and soft glass materials must be changed for sealing more than 500 °C.
Material control, process control, and detection control: the
three major controls are an important part of the whole electric heating pipe
production and manufacturing.
Each process directly affects the product quality of the next process, in which the detection technology control is directly related to the product quality of each process, is the key process of process control, is the most effective way to improve the qualified rate of finished products, reduce losses, and ensure the stability of product quality.
